Join the Biomimicry Institute for a day focused on
Nature, Innovation, and the Future of Education

The Biomimicry Institute is hosting an exciting day of learning Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Austin’s Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center – and we want you to be part of it! In collaboration with members of the Biomimicry Education Network (BEN), this day of interactive learning is intended for educators of all kinds: classroom and informal educators, university faculty, professional trainers, and anyone interested in sharing biomimicry with others!

Participants will share and gain knowledge of practical approaches and will discuss recent trends in biomimicry education, outreach and dissemination. The day will include a keynote, hands-on workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities. All Summit attendees will also receive an invitation to the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge Awards event following the Summit. This social and celebratory event provides attendees the opportunity to interact with finalists from the design challenge, select the People’s Choice award winner, and to see the Wildflower Center gardens at night.
