Life’s birthday is today, February 25. No, we’re not saying that we know life started on this particular date. We mean that if you were to compress the age of the Earth (4.5 billion years) into one calendar year, February 25 would be when life first showed up. And humans? We arrived just four minutes before midnight.

How should we celebrate? What better way to celebrate life on our beautiful planet Earth than by going outside and spending a few moments of appreciation for nature’s wisdom, resilience, beauty, and support of all life?

To learn more about the timeline, see the image below, and listen to Dayna Baumeister describe it in a lecture at the InnoTown® Innovation Conference in 2011.
