Nature-Inspired Startups Networking Reception

Sep 26, 2024 / 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please join us for a networking reception with the 2024 Ray of Hope Accelerator cohort, taking place on the evening of September 26, 2024 at the COOKFOX Architects Office.

This cohort of 10 nature-inspired startup companies are solving systemic environmental and social issues across sectors, from developing cutting edge energy storage solutions, to functionalizing cellulose via green chemistry, to creating a diversity of game-changing platform technologies. All of these startups have developed products, with many piloting their technology with industry partners. We would like to invite you to meet with these founders, meet other investors and influencers interested in nature-inspired solutions, and celebrate bold solutions to the climate crisis.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided.

To help these companies overcome startup pitfalls, we provide:

The Ray of Hope Accelerator was created in partnership with the Ray C. Anderson Foundation to celebrate the life and legacy of the sustainable business pioneer Ray C. Anderson of Interface, Inc., and his commitment to creating regenerative products and processes that are modeled upon nature’s genius. The Ray of Hope Accelerator is also supported by our partners at the Bentley Environmental Foundation, and L’Oréal. For more information, visit our website here.

About the Biomimicry Institute:

The Biomimicry Institute exists to illuminate nature’s genius, and to bridge the reconnection between people and nature by ‘Asking Nature.’ Our goal is for biomimicry to become a natural part of the design process for any challenge facing humankind, and an answer to any question asked in the process to rebuild ecological consciousness and connection to living systems.
