In 2019, we saw amazing growth of all three elements of our mission — emulation, ethos, and (re)connection — as we supported the movement to bring nature-inspired design to students, educators, and innovators throughout the world.
When we began this report, we didn’t know how drastically our world and lives would shift. The pandemic and social justice movement, among other critical human and environmental challenges, have reinforced how essential biomimicry is for all the beings living on Earth today. Despite the chaos and tragedy, our staff is hopeful and invigorated. Biomimicry shows us a path to a regenerative future, and you are helping us get there.
